MISTAKES HAPPEN - STOP WORRYING! Too often with our teams I see a player make a mistake and then beat themselves up about it for the next ten minutes, or even for the rest of the game. Mistakes happen in soccer, it is part of the beautiful game, and the JUSC coaches understand that. At times, you players are your own worst enemies, it’s great that you have set such high standards for yourselves, but you can’t let one or two little mistakes spoil your whole performance! Even great players make mistakes, truly great players are the ones who put it behind them and want the ball at their feet again right away. It’s more impressive to see a player who wants the ball and is willing to risk making a mistake, than a player who disappears for the rest of the game.
