Bettering YOUR Game!
Rossco’s
Tip of the Week
Here is a very simple game you can play with your friend or teammate to
practice doing the simple things well. Practice these things in your own
time!
So what's Rossco ranting
about this week?
This Ranting Scotsman
always has something to say!
Can you do the simple things well? Yes, it may be sweet if you can do a
rainbow, or if you whack it in from 25 yards one time per season. But
the best players can do the simple things well… how consistent can you
be? How is your first touch? Your ability to connect a 10 yard pass
every time? Work on the things you think are “easy”!
Soccer is a simple game made difficult by us who play it!
What's happening at JUSC, JSC & USC?
The JUSC Boy’s Fall Cup has come and gone! We are
delighted to have hosted a hugely successful tournament
with great soccer action, lovely weather and beautiful
facilities! If you were out there, we hope you enjoyed it!
Don’t worry girls; the JUSC Girl’s Fall Cup is only a few
weeks away, October 7th- 9th.
Congratulations to JUSC Liverpool who won the U15 gold
division, and to JUSC Premier U18b who won the U19 gold
division. Well done lads!

Check This Out...
Here is a player who is a master at doing the simple things
well, always finds a pass and makes great decisions- Sergio
Busquets.
But then again, all of
Barcelona’s players make the game look easy. I could watch the game be
played in this manner all day. Vision, movement, passing, teamwork- the
beautiful game being played beautifully.
