So what's Rossco ranting about this week?
And just like that… we reach the end of another season. It’s been an
adventure as always! We’ve had ups and we’ve had downs, we’ve had wins
and losses, triumphs and tribulations… but at the end of the day, it’s
been another great season at JUSC!
I would like to thank the Rossco’s Rants faithful for continually coming
back to see what I’m ranting about! I hope you have enjoyed Rossco’s
Rants this season, and of course, I’ll be back in the Spring- bigger and
better!

What's happening at JUSC, JSC & USC?
JUSC will be represented in Kansas City on 3 consecutive
weekends! Congratulations to the u15 girls who won the HIT tournament, and
to the other girls teams who performed admirably against top competition.
The Boys HIT tournament is coming this weekend, good luck boys!
Additionally, our u16s and u17s boys and girls teams will be travelling to
the GSI College Showcase. This tournament allows our players the chance to
play in front of College coaches from across the country. All the teams have
been working hard on their team/ player profile manuals in order to get the
exposure they need to begin exploring the next chapter of their soccer
careers.

The indoor season approaches… so to get you in the mood I looked out
these little nuggets…
As the u11 boys would say, this is SICK.
This one is unbelievable, the song is a
bit dodgy but the skills are amazing. Make sure you stick with it right to the
end because the last goal is RIDICULOUS!
Coach’s Favorite
This week’s featured coach is my fellow country man, and newest member
of JUSC’s staff, Mr. Lyall Menzies.
Here is a video that highlights Super Ally’s outrageous ability to be in
the right place at the right time and to clinically finish his chances.
Lyall’s favorite goal comes at the 2:40 mark, a bicycle kick in the Cup
final with his first touch after coming on as a sub! Brilliant!
In Liverpool they call him “God”, I’ll let Shedzy introduce you in his
own words:
“Attached is a two minute video of the best player I have ever seen
live....Robbie Fowler! His third goal in the compilation is my favorite
in particular, as I was at that game and was the best individual
performance from a player I had ever seen......absolutely sensational!”
