- NOTE: Spring Season requests are harder to honor due to uncertantly of the number of returning players, caoches and /or returning teams viability. Please email info@juscsoccer.org if it is important and to be timely considered.
- Requests past registration/same team deadline are less likely to be honored.
Play-Up Request
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
An example of 8U play-up to 9U
-
Longer game time: From 4x8 minutes at 8U to 2x25 at 9U -
Much larger field: From 25-35 length to 55-65 yards (this is a most drastic change, combined with the longer game, this is a challenging transition for the true 9U player) -
At 8U (4v4) with no goalies to 7v7 with goalies at 9U -
It is possible that 9U team ends up playing against 10U team by Iowa Soccer League rules, hence an 8U player that is playing-up at 9U might face 10U competition)
-
In your honest personal opinion, do you still see your child fit to play up?
-
Does his/her physical and technical ability considerably outgrow his/her teammates?
-
If requested, could the past coach provide a supporting reference?
